[Timmy and Jenny are in the Courtroom on trial]
Tim you left your post, you put us all in danger.

That's impossible, they were lost when they escaped from NIMH.
Jenny [a flashback comes up showing the lost rats escape from NIMH through the ventilation. The rats landed in the basement and took care of each other. Then the rats were recaptured by Dr. Valentine and his scientist assistants getting caught in a net and being caged up, Dr. Valentine laughs]
No, they were swept away into the ventilation system but they ended up in the basement. They stayed there until the injured got better. Just when they tried again to escape, that's when it happened. They were recaptured by Dr. Valentine.
Jenny [the flashback ends and it shows Timmy and Jenny back in the courtroom]
Everything has changed in the labs. Dr Valentine is crazier than ever. My parents and the others sent me to find you, you've just got to help.
I'm afraid you asked too much of us Ms. McBride.
Jenny But something terrible is about to happen at NIMH. No one knows what it is. But it has something to do with the next full moon.
Jenny What's taking them so long to decide?
Don't worry Jenny. Mr. Ages says good things comes to those who wait.
Jenny I can't wait! Do you have any idea what it's like at NIMH? They're living in cages waiting for the scientist to do, who knows what to them. How could you know. I mean, just look at this place. But no one here ever worries about their family. [looks over the balcony and watches the mice playing in town]
Well I do? I haven't seen them since I came to Thorn Valley.
Jenny [gasp]
They're here. [Justin and Mr. Ages walks in the room] The answer's no, isn't it?
The council decided that the risk to Thorn Valley was just too great. We can't go.
Jenny I guess I'm going to have to do it myself. I'm not going to let anything happen to my mother and father and that's that! [tries to walk out but then, Brutus blocks Jenny's path]
Jenny There are guards everywhere. Watching our every move. We're trapped. And I thought NIMH was a prison!
[the door opens and Mr. Ages walks in the room]
Um... Ms. McBride. I've made a bed for you in the observatory. I hope you'll be comfortable. Good night children. Sorry to keep you a prisoner. [walks out of the room and closes the door]
Jenny I've got to get out of here somehow. Of course it would be a lot easier with some help.
Oh well. They just don't want you telling anyone on the outside about us. Wait a second? How did you know about Thorn Valley?
Jenny [gathers clothes and ties each one into a rope]
When I was little, I remember a mouse in the cage next to ours telling my parents how the rats that escaped from NIMH settled in a place called Thorn Valley. And if any of us ever escaped we should promise to go there and ask the rats for help. Yeah right!
But how did you ever find it?
Jenny I remember him saying, it was south, by south, by south.
Jenny You know I've forgotten, but I think that was his name. How did you know?
[pulls up a letter and reads it]
Martin's my brother. My moms letter said he disappeared. She had no idea what happened to him.
Jenny Well, he's at NIMH.
No! Martins at NIMH? They captured him! Is he alright?
Jenny [ties off a rope of clothes to the balcony]
I hope so. Besides, they just took him away right after that.
Wait! Maybe if I tell Justin about Martin I mean... I could try to.
Jenny Tim. You've got to have the courage to follow your heart. I'll say hi for you when I get back to NIMH. [begins to climb down the clothes rope]
You mean when we get there. I have to save my brother.
[Jenny smiles]
Sound the alarm! Sound the alarm! [runs out of the door and Brutus wakes up]
Yow! What in the name of Nicodemus?
She's gone into the canal! And Tim is with her.
Doh! Get the others! I'll catch them at the bridge! [runs over to the bridge and sees the saltshakers floating and grabs both of them] Okay! Party's over! What? Huh, What the... Well what do you know.
We've got to stop them! For Thorn Valleys sake! Spread out along the canal, they wont get far!
[Justin and the mice run around, meanwhile up in the tree, Tim and Jenny in the basket open the trash can with three helium balloons floating their basket into the sky. And Justin looks at the trash can]
What? Well I'll be.
Jenny Um... You sure you've flown one of these things before?
Ah hundreds of times. From the ground.
Jenny If we die, I'm going to kill you.

Jenny [They fly high up in the sky]
Don't worry mom and dad! I'll save you! Even Dr. Valentine can't stop us!

TA Timmy and Jenny
[are about the kiss, when suddenly, their flying balloons are attacked]

TA Timmy and Jenny
[the flying balloons are attacked again]

[looks up and sees a hawk] [gasp]

[the hawk dives down at the balloons and pops one of them causing Timmy and Jenny to float down fast and Jenny screams. Their basket tips over and Jenny grabs Timmys foot]
Hold on!
Jenny Tim!
Jenny I'm falling!
Jenny Here it comes!
[the hawk dives at them again and pops their second balloon and fall faster. Timmy and Jenny screams again]
Hang on!
Jenny He's coming! He's coming!
Jenny [Then Cecil the caterpillar climbs out of the tree hole and sees Timmy and Jenny falling forward down and sees the hawk diving after them. Cecil screams]
He's after me!
[Then the Hawk pops the third and last balloon and Timmy and Jenny scream. They safely land but Tim's foot gets caught in the vine]
Whoa! What a ride!
Jenny I told you! If we die I...
Jenny Not for long. [helps Timmy out of the vine and on the ground] Anymore bright ideas?
Jenny [the both run in and the hawk dives for them]
Hurry Tim! In there!
[They run in the hole of the tree and the hawk tries to kill them, then Cecil blows the log making awful noise to the hawk and the hawk flies away]
And don't come back! [claps his four hands]
Jenny Is he gone?
Jenny What was that?
I don't know, and I don't want to know.
Jenny Tim, anything around here look familiar?
[They look around the dark forest]
Nope.
Jenny We'll never get to NIMH. Before the full moon. My mom and dad are doomed.
[Cecil eavesdrops on Tim and Jenny's conversation]
Poor Martin. Hey! we could look for the great owl. That's what my mom said to do.
[thinks up an idea]

[Tim and Jenny runs over to the tree where Cecil the caterpillar stands. Tim looks up at the tree and climbs up. Cecil grabs Tim's tail with his stick and pulls him down]
Hey not so fast short stuff. The way it works is this. You want something from the owl. You've got to have something for the owl.
How about this. [pulls out his slingshot out of his vest]
A twig? Ha! Where in the forest can you bring a twig? What's next? A leaf? Some dirt? Beat it kid! Go find a nice trap to play in!

Jenny [steps on his shoe]

[climbs up the tree]

Jenny [Then Jenny runs up with a stick and whacks Jeremys head with a stick]

[Timmy and Jenny both jumps off the tree branch and lands on Jeremy and they all escape from the forest animals in the sky]

[They approach the creepy NIMH science building]

[Timmy and Jenny looks at the NIMH science building]
That's it! I'm not going one feet of farther. Um One farther. Further. One feather further. I've, got to get out of here!
[Jeremy and Cecil take off while Timmy and Jenny sneak inside the building]
[after Timmy and Jenny climb up the stairs, they look around the room]
It's so quiet.
Jenny Too quiet. [gasp] Someone's coming.

[They hide as the Rat Guards of NIMH march out of the elevator]

Those are the biggest rats I've ever seen in my life.
Jenny Keep an eye out, there are bigger creatures than that in this place.

Jenny Thanks. Come on. [opens the door slot with a feather quill and they both crawl in the door slot]
Jenny Mom! Dad! You're alright! [sees the lost six mice including her Mother and Father inside their cages. Mr. and Mrs. McBride walks over to the bars]

Jenny. You shouldn't have come back. The moon is full tonight, we're all in danger!
We'll have you all out in a second.
M Mrs. McBride
Justin, is that really you?
To the rescue. Let's get you out of here.
[Then all of a sudden Floyd grabs Justin and Brutus. And Muriel grabs 2 more rat crew members]
Gotcha! Ooh I'm so sorry did I startle you!
[opens in the door]

Jenny Tim! Cats!
Oh no! [runs back to help his friends]
[grabs Jenny's tail]
Three blind mice. See how they shine throughout the device.
Oh man. Why didn't I listen? [walks back but Floyd grabs Timmy by the tail]
Oh no you don't. You'll make a scrum-sics golden neck of here. [throws Timmy into his mouth]
What the? [slaps Floyds back and Timmy comes out of his mouth on the ground] What are you thinking Floyd?
They are going to make such a lovely stew you know. A few carrots and mashing up some greens.
Grr! Floyd! [grabs the rest of the three mice by their tails away from Floyd] A good doctor will make a stew out of us if we hurt any of them!
Merely I don't want to hurt him. I merely want to eat him. ha ha ha!

[the Rat Guards of NIMH takes Timmy, Jenny, Justin prisoner and marches them into Dr. Valentines lab]

[The Rat Guard throws Timmy and Jenny on the floor and they fall forward and they get out and sees Dr. Valentine with the lightening flashing behind him] [gasp]
Jenny Dr. Valentine!
Yes sir. And we didn't even eat any I wanted to make a lovely stew of course.
[elbows Floyd]
Put a sock in it Floyd!
V Dr. Valentine
Ruff! Ruff! Ruff! Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!
[Then the rubber ball bounces and Dr. Valentine acts like a dog and crawls on the floor after the ball and plays with it. Then Evil Martin is shown sitting in the electric chair]
Little Timothy, how you have grown?
[Then Evil Martin gets up and walks over to Timmy]
You bruised me. I must be half changed a bit. But for the better, don't you think, Hero?!

Jenny You're insane! [The Rat Guard grabs Jenny's hair and pulls her back] Aggh!

[They run into the elevator]
Excuse me? Going down? [fires the slingshot at the elevator and hits the button]

[Floyd rips the elevator padding. Timmy runs up the elevator ceiling and the cats jump at him]

Let me at him! I'll show you how to do it, Floyd! Come on, little mousy! I need that tail to use as a toothpick! Uh, oh.
[Then Tim opens the elevator hatchet door and hits Muriel's face and she lands on Floyd]

[Timmy hooks the elevator gears with a hook]

[the two cats get stuck as they try to get out of the door hatch]

[Then the elevator falls down faster with the two cats, who screaming]
