[Rocket's just been revived by Gamora, Groot and Star-Lord. Meanwhile, Drax, Mantis and Nebula are still on the High Evolutionary's ship where all his test subjects, genetically modified children are being held. Peter then contacts them over the comm system.]

Nebula
Oh, thank god. We're here to get you out of here.

The High Evolutionary's ship.

[beat.]

[Drax, Mantis and Nebula are all shocked as they hear Rocket's voice for the first time since he was shot.]

[Nebula starts crying, happy her friend is alive. Mantis tries to keep her composure as she speaks into the comm.]
Rocket, we love you very much and we're happy you're alive.
Rocket
[tearfully, but smiling.]

High Evolutionary
He's right about that.
High Evolutionary
[Rocket starts hyperventilating as he hears the sound of his creator's voice over the comms. Meanwhile, the High Evolutionary and several of his guards enter the holding area. All the children start screaming and running away from him.]
BACK IN YOUR CAGES!
Star-Lord
[The High Evolutionary uses his telekinesis to send the three Guardians flying, knocking all of them unconscious.]
Nebula? Nebula, come in!
High Evolutionary
[The High Evolutionary picks up Nebula's comm to use it himself.]
So, you'd like to joust, would you?
Star-Lord
[exchanges a look of fear between him, Rocket and Groot.]
Go to hell, you sick son of a bitch. You killed all those people!
High Evolutionary
As I will your friends. I'm sending you the coordinates. They will die unless you BRING ME WHAT IS MINE!!!

Screw you, you stretch faced, Robocop-looking, Skeletor wannabe, PURPLE NURPLE, PIECE OF-
Star-Lord
[The High Evolutionary crushes the comm in his hand before Star-Lord can finish his insulting tirade.] [beat.]
He hung up.

No! Listen to me! You need to talk to the other children, all of them here, and tell them to stay away from the freaking… What the hell are you doing, Mantis?

Star-Lord
[Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket and Blurp have entered the hangar bay of the High Evolutionary's ship to save their friends. Star-Lord starts playing No Sleep Till Brooklyn on his Zune, pointing at the nearest doors.]
We go in there, we get Mantis, Nebula and Drax. We move in, we get 'em and we get out.
Mantis
[A loud thud is suddenly heard behind them so they all take battle stances as something bursts through the wall behind them. However, it turns out to be Drax, Mantis and Nebula riding in on three Abilisks. They then dismount, with Mantis grinning from ear to ear.]

Star-Lord
Okay... new game plan. We get the hell out of here, now!
Nebula
There are thousands of creatures on this ship!
Mantis
Many of them are children.
Drax
And we need to be good joob joob.
Star-Lord
Huh?
Drax
It means friends.
Gamora
If we want to live, we have to leave now! This whole rig is gonna go down any second!
Nebula
They will all die if we don't help them!
Rocket
[As they argue, Rocket just looks at the hangar bay door, hearing the sounds of distant explosions. He remembers being experimented on, being abused by the High Evolutionary, making his first friends in a cage, seeing them all die before they could all be free and running away from everything. He gives a determined glare and **** his weapon.]
I'm done running...
[No Sleep Till Brooklyn fades back in as Rocket marches towards the door, weapon in hand. Groot soon joins him, followed by Nebula, then Star-Lord, then Mantis, Drax and and Blurp. Gamora lingers for a moment, rolling her eyes in frustration as the empathic Mantis smirks ahead of her. Eventually, Gamora joins the group, as the Guardians of the Galaxy are reunited once more.]
