Dr. Yates
[Sadie is driving through Virginia countryside when Dr. Yates calls]
You disappeared on me. We had an appointment.
The mountains called.
Dr. Yates
Sadie, it's normal to be affected by what happened. Death, anyone's, can fill us with urgency.
This is not about what happened. I didn't really know her, but... [inhales sharply, stammers and sighs] She was the same as me. Same age, same job. The one time I was in her house, it was the same as mine. [Chuckles] Nice, but cold. Empty, except for one sad houseplant, which is more than I have. She died alone.
Dr. Yates
Sadie, stay present. No big moves, no big changes.
So don't marry the rafting guide I just met? [Chuckles] Maybe start with a houseplant. I'd probably eat it. My cold, empty house has a cold, empty fridge. I'm gonna stop for groceries.
Dr. Yates
Let's check in tomorrow.
Yeah.
