Gwen Stacy

View Quote Electro: You're too late, Spider-Man. I designed this power grid. Now I'm gonna take back what is rightfully mine. I will control everything. And I will be like a god to them.
Spider-Man: A god named Sparkles?
View Quote Harry: [as the Green Goblin, after seeing Spider-Man with Gwen and realizing Spider-Man is Peter] Peter! When you said Spider-Man said no... you meant you said no.
Spider-Man: Harry, what did you do?
Green Goblin: What you made me do. You were my friend, and you BETRAYED ME!
Spider-Man: No, I was trying to protect you.
Green Goblin: [chuckles] Look at me...!
Spider-Man: Hey, it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be alright.
Green Goblin: [still in a chuckling fit] You don't give people hope; you just take it away.
Spider-Man: No, Harry--
Green Goblin: And now, I'm gonna take away yours.
Spider-Man: No! [to Gwen] Gwen, run!
View Quote Harry: [to Donald Menken] Oh, my oh my, how the tables have turned. I know it's hard to admit, but, how spectacular of a move is this? Am I right?
Electro: Right as rain.
Harry: Okay, hi, so, fairy godmother, it's time to grant me a wish; I want in to special projects-
Donald Menken: How dare you come back here! You reconsolent, unworthy, defective URCHIN FREAKS!
[Electro casually zaps him in the chest, instantly killing him]
Harry: [chuckling] Oh, I'm sorry, that's just not the answer we were looking for. [walks over to pick up a gun belonging to the dead head of security, while whistling the "Jeopardy" theme song; he and Electro walk back over to the unconscious Menken] Clear.
[Electro uses electricity to revive Menken. Harry holds the gun to his chin.]
Harry: Welcome back to the bonus round! Let's take a little walk, shall we?
[Harry grabs Menken by the tie, and walks him to the exit holding the gun to Menken's head as they walk.]
Harry: [to Electro] The grid is all yours.
View Quote Norman Osborn: [dying] This is not how I imagined I would die...looking at my son, and seeing a stranger. You have such potential, Harry. Such fierce intelligence, and you're throwing it all away.
Harry: No, you threw me away! You kicked me off to Boarding School, when I was eleven. On my 16th birthday, you sent me Scotch! Or, one of your assistants did, anyway. I'm pretty sure, because, the card wrote "With complements, Norman Osborn."
Norman: I don't expect forgiveness from you anymore. I don't believe in miracles. How could you possibly understand that your childhood had to be sacrificed, for something greater? And not just for me, for you! Has your hand started to twitch yet, when you lie awake and feel it coming, crawling under your skin, waiting to show itself, to show you who you really are? Retroviral Hyperplasia. I never told you... that it's genetic. Our disease, the "Osborn Curse", and it began at your age. Your hand, give it to me. The greatest inheritance I can give you, isn't merely money. It's this. The sum total of my life's work. Everything I did to stay alive. Maybe you can succeed where I failed.
View Quote Osborn: [to Electro] Psst! I'm gonna get you out of here, alright. But we don't have much time.
Electro: Who are you?
Osborn: I'm Harry Osborn. I want to make you a deal.
Electro: I should kill you.
Osborn: Oh, come on. Think bigger, Max! I'm not the one you want. You want Spider-Man, and I can give him to you. But I need something first: I need you to get me into Oscorp.
Electro: Get you in?! You own it!
Osborn: Heh. Er, not anymore. Oscorp betrayed us both, so I can't get in there without you, and you can't get out of here without me.
View Quote Osborn: What did you do?!
Donald Menken: The more relevant question is what did you do? An employee is killed, and as your first act of CEO, you cover it up.
Osborn: No, you covered it up...and then you buried him in a bug house using my name!
Donald: Ravencroft is an instution for the criminally insane.
Osborn: You are experimenting on people in there!
Menken: Progress has its stepping stones. Now, in response to your criminal actions, you have been, how do I put this gently? Fired.
Osborn: You are not gonna bury me too.
Menken: Looks like you're half way in the ground already. You're going to die a horrible death, just like your father. The only difference is... nobody's going to miss you.
View Quote Spider-Man: [hanging upside down] Mr. Osborn, look up. [comes down] I hear you’ve been looking for me.
Harry: I cannot believe my eyes! Spider-Man. Just the guy I wanted to see. [pours himself some whiskey] So...did you, uh...talk to Peter?
Spider-Man: Yep. I wanna help you, Mr. Osborn, I really, really do...but I can't give you my blood. Not right now.
Harry: Excuse me?
Spider-Man: It's too dangerous. If our blood is incompatible, with the wrong mixing, you could die.
Harry: I'm already dying. Your blood can't make me die more.
Spider-Man: But it could do something worse.
Harry: Okay. Alright, how much?
Spider-Man: How much what?
Harry: How much do you want? Name it. You want a boat? A plane? Money? How much do you want?
Spider-Man: I don't want your money.
Harry: Oh, come on! EVERYONE WANTS MY MONEY!
Spider-Man: I don't.
Harry: I thought... I thought you were supposed to save people. That's what you do, you're supposed to save people's lives, and now, y-you're just gonna let me die?
Spider-Man: Look, I'm just trying to protect you now.
Harry: No. No, you’re not. You are trying to protect yourself.
Spider-Man: Look, we just need a bit more time to think of something else.
Harry: I do not HAVE TIME!!! [throws glass at Spider-Man, dodges, and it hits a TV.]
Spider-Man: I'm sorry. [leaves, and Harry looks out the window; he angrily walks away]
Harry: YOU'RE A FRAUD, SPIDER-MAN!! [angrily knocks down a table with his whiskey on it, as Spider-Man sits on the side of the building in regret]
View Quote [last lines; after Spider-Man makes his return to confront Aleksei Sytsevich, who is rampaging New York as the Rhino]
Aleksei/Rhino: You fight me? You fight me now? Huh?
Spider-Man: On behalf of the fine people of New York City and real rhinos everywhere, I ask you to put your mechanized paws in the air.
Rhino: NEVER! I crush you, I kill you! I destroy you!
Spider-Man: You want me to come down there so you can kill me?
Rhino: Yes!
Spider-Man: I'll be right there. [Sighs contently] There's no place like home.
[Spider-Man then swings on by to fight the Rhino, thus continuing his never-ending destiny of being New York's hero, and ending The Amazing Spider-Man films]
View Quote [her high-school graduation speech] I know that we all think we're immortal, we're supposed to feel that way, we're graduating. The future is and should be bright, but, like our brief four years in high school, what makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever, what makes it precious is that it ends. I know that now more than ever. And I say it today of all days to remind us that time is luck. So don't waste it living someone else's life, make yours count for something. Fight for what matters to you, no matter what. Because even if you fall short, what better way is there to live?
View Quote It's easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today, but there will be dark days ahead of us, too. There will be days when you feel alone, and that is when hope is needed most. No matter how buried it gets or how lost you feel, you must promise me that you will hold onto hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope - people need that. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live? As we look around here today, at all the people who helped make us who we are, I know it feels like we are saying goodbye, but we will carry a piece of each other into everything that we do next, to remind us of who we are and who we are meant to be. Max Dillon / Electro
View Quote This is bigger than you, Peter.
View Quote You're Spider-Man, and I love that. But I love Peter Parker more.
