Pavel Chekov: How big is your medical staff?
John Harriman: The medical staff... doesn't arrive till Tuesday.
Pavel Chekov: [speaks Russian, then points to two members of the onboard news crew] You and you, you've just become nurses. Let's go.

Tolian Soran: [to Kirk] Actually, I am familiar with history, Captain, and if I'm not too much mistaken, you're dead.

Tolian Soran: Have you ever considered a prosthesis that would make you look a little more... how can I say... more normal?
Geordi La Forge: What's normal?
Tolian Soran: What's normal? Well, that's a good question. Normal is what everyone else is and you are not.

Tolian Soran: Just who the hell are you?
Jean-Luc Picard: He's James T. Kirk. Don't you read history?

Tolian Soran: Now, you'll have to excuse me, Captain. I have an appointment with eternity, and I don't want to be late.

Tolian Soran: They say time is the fire in which we burn. Right now, Captain, my time is running out. We leave so many things unfinished in our lives. [softly] I know you understand.

Tolian Soran: Welcome, Captain. You must think I'm quite the madman, hmm?
Jean-Luc Picard: The thought had crossed my mind.

William Riker: "We the officers and crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, being of sound mind and judgement, hereby make the following charges against Lieutenant Worf. One, that he did knowingly and willfully perform above and beyond the call of duty on countless occasions. Two--most seriously-- that he has earned the admiration and respect of the entire crew."
Jean-Luc Picard: Mr. Worf, I hereby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant Commander with all the rights and priviledges thereto. And may God have mercy on your soul.

William Riker: Data, the sensors can't penetrate the planet's ionosphere. There's too much interference. Can you find a way to scan for life forms?
Data: I would be happy to, sir. I just love scanning for life forms. [begins singing and playing tune on console] Life forms, You tiny little life forms, You precious little life forms, Where are you?

William Riker: I always thought I'd get a shot at this chair one day.
Jean-Luc Picard: Perhaps you still will. Somehow, I doubt that this will be the last ship to carry the name Enterprise. [looks at Riker, then taps his combadge] Picard to Farragut-- Two to beam up. [last lines]

William Riker: I'm going to miss this ship. She went before her time.
Jean-Luc Picard: Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives, but I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, Number One, we're only mortal.
William Riker: Speak for yourself, sir. I plan to live forever.

[After James T. Kirk continues to repeatedly stand and sit nervously upon hearing John Harriman's reasons for not responding to distress call]
Montgomery Scott: Admiral, is there something wrong with your chair?

[Data attenuates the axial servo in his arm to open a magnetically sealed door.]
Data: Open sesame! (turns to Geordi La Forge) You could say... I have a magnetic personality. Ha ha ha!

[Data finds a drink unpleasant - for the first time ever due to his newly implanted emotional chip.]
Data: I believe this beverage has produced an emotional response.
La Forge: Really? What do you feel?
Data: I'm uncertain... (while he grimaces) because I have little experiencie with emotions I'm not able to... articulate the sensation.
Guinan: (astounded) Emotions?
La Forge: I'll explain you later.
[Data continues to drink and continues to grimace]
Guinan: Looks like he hates it.
Data: That is it. That is it! I hate this!
La Forge: Looks like the chip is working.
[Data takes another drink and ****s his head to the side while grimacing]
Data: Ooooh, I hate this! It is revolting! (Data finishes his glass of beverage)
Guinan: More?
Data: Please!

[Data has found his cat Spot safe and sound in the Enterprise wreckage.]
Data: [happily] Spot!
Spot: [Meow]
Data: I am very happy to see you, Spot. [cradles Spot, and begins crying]
Deanna Troi: Another family reunited. Data, are you all right?
Data: [tears streaming] I am uncertain, Counselor. I am happy to see Spot, yet I am crying. Perhaps the chip is malfunctioning.
Deanna Troi: [smiling] I think it's working perfectly.
Data: Hello, Spot.
